Equipped with ‘state of art’ infrastructure and highly technical highly sophisticated medical equipment) The U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre (UNMICRC) is a grant–in–aid "autonomous body" promoted by the Government of Gujarat. The Institute is affiliated to the BJ Medical College, Civil Hospital Campus, Asarwa, Ahmedabad, which is a Government Medical College for academic purposes.
Institute is governed by Governing Board where Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat, is Ex-officio Chairperson of the Governing Board of UNMICRC.
