Radiology was founded at U N Mehta I.C.R.C on 12th of March 2004, the journey began from single X ray and USG machine upto upgraded modalities like DR and 128 Multislice CT Scan. Right now, we offer a wide variety of diagnostic radiology examinations with state-of-the-art technology.

We offer exceptional diagnostic radiology services in a patient-friendly environment. Digital radiography (DR) is a modern method of obtaining X-ray images wherein the digital image can then be distributed directly to the associated workstations, greatly increasing workflow efficiency. Portable DR base modality helps to reduce radiation and time of investigation without compromising high quality. We have 15 Portable X ray machines and 2 mobile DR system to provide fast X ray services at bed side as per required by physician.

We have CR system newly upgraded FCR CAPSULA XL II equipped with state-of-the-art functions including an optional capability of 50-micron reading with high resolution imaging plates. This CR system have rapid processing and precise image reading ideal for X-ray images. We have high frequency USG machines like Affiniti 70 with precision beam forming features and dynamic range to deliver superb spatial and contrast resolution, outstanding tissue uniformity, and fewer artifacts and reduced image clutter. This outstanding image quality combines with advanced clinical functionality, including elastography, contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), and Anatomical Intelligence Ultrasound (AIUS).

The fetal heart is examined by a series of sequential ultrasound views, which image the cardiac connections and intracardiac structure. The information obtained by cross-sectional imaging can be augmented by the use of cardiac measurements, and evaluation with pulsed or color flow Doppler

We do procedures of USG guided biopsy and tapping.

128 slice CT scan machine with supported equipments i.e. Anaesthesia machine, Multipara monitor, Biphasic Defibrillator, Dual Head Pressure Injector.
CT angio is a good non-invasive tool for diagnosis of Coronary tree evaluation with coronary calcium scoring, post CABG graft evaluation, pulmonary tree evaluation including congenital heart diseases (pre & post-operative evaluation), aorta and its major branches evaluation and Peripheral vessels including head and neck, upper limb, lower limb etc.
In Peripheral Vascular Diseases (PVD) – CT gives extensive information on limb arteries, graft status, distal arterial runoff, and stent status – to plan for future surgery or angioplasty.
Evaluate intracranial arteries while acute stroke interventions are carried out.
Excellent 3D reconstructed volume rendered (3D VRT) images.
Low radiation dose and excellent image quality.

Cardiac Perfusion Studies:

Equivalent to Nuclear scan (without any radioactive substance).

Useful in Renal Failure patient
Improved Imaging using Non Contrast Angiography Techniques

Cardiac Imaging

Better Morphology & functional cardiac imaging using spin echo or conventional gradient echo sequence.
Better myocardial tagging.
Improvement in SNR / CNR for Coronary MR Imaging and coronary vessel wall imaging.
MR spectroscopy techniques can be applied for myocardial viability with perfusion and phase contrast flow measurements which are better in 3T.

The Nuclear Medicine Department was established in year 2015. Department of Nuclear Medicine is equipped with State of the art Dual Head Gamma Camera (SIEMENS Symbia S-Series IQ•SPECT).
