Cardiac anesthesiology department is a super-specialized branch of medicine dedicated to adult as well as pediatric cardiac anaesthesia. The department has extended its services to Adult and pediatric post-operative ICU, Cath lab and CT scan for various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
The department is well equipped with IABP, ECMO, Neuro muscular Monitoring, Nitric Oxide delivery system adjoining with high ended modular operation theatres (Total OT 14) and hybrid Cath Lab. The renowned senior and dedicated faculties with an experience of more than 15 years in the same subject has made an excellent outcome of patients from all varieties of complex and complicated cardiac surgeries.
This teaching institute is running various super Speciality courses like DM in Cardiac Anaesthesia from 2013 onwards. The overall infra-structure, facilities and experienced teaching staff with DM students are back-bone for the success and progress of this institute. The department is also running for various paramedical course like OT –Assistant, OT Manager and OT Technician to strengthen the infrastructure by teaching and training by scientific way.
The post-operative care in CTRR is highly equipped with all essential and latest equipment along with senior, dedicated and skilled adult-pediatric intensivist round the clock for best patient care. The department is well organized for post-operative pain clinics and counselling for post-operative rehabilitation by strong coordination with physiotherapy department. The department is enthusiastically prepared for Heart Transplant and LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) in a near future with its excellent strength of skilled faculties and infra-structure.
