Cardiac Rehabilitation

The U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre has launched significant initiative to address limited access to quality cardiac care, particularly among underprivileged patients, with key focus on patient-centered care and Phase II outpatient cardiac rehab department. In October 2022, U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre established state-of-art cardiac rehabilitation center, investing in cutting-edge infrastructure, advanced equipment, and assembling qualified specialist team. Institute incorporated advanced medical equipment for accurate patient assessment and tailored rehabilitation programs, including Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) and Diffusion Lung Capacity for Carbon Monoxide (DLCO). Dedicated multi-station gym for cardiac patients, tele cardiac rehabilitation were introduced to provide treatment regardless of location.
