The department of Cardio Thoracic Surgery at U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre is a symbol of relentless persuance towards giving both adult & paediatric cardiac patients the best surgical results which optimise their life and make our pursuit of Excellence in Cardiacare highly rewarding. The centre annually performs more than 800 cardiac surgeries with a success rate.

The department of Cardio Thoracic Surgery is doing complicated coronary artery bypass operations, surgery for all types of valvular heart disease and infant and neonatal heart surgery have been done. Apart from this all types of thoracic and extracranial cerebrovascular operations have also been conducted.
