About Hospital:

U. N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, Ahmedabad, Gujarat is an emergency related Super specialty, Teaching (Having 7 D.M. Registrations per year), Research, Academic (Special Academic Floor) and Unique Charitable Cardiac Institute with capacity of 450 beds which includes State-of-Art additional new wing of 250 beds, having State-of-Art 2 Cardiac Flat Panel Cathlab and State-of-Art 52 bedded MICU, which includes Paediatric ICCU and State-of-Art 6 Cardiac OT which includes One State-of-Art Paediatric OT and One Thoracic OT which are fully equipped with State-of-Art Medical equipments. The Institute is running unique free Cardiac School Health Programme and Free Cardiac treatment (Free Cardiac Operations & Cardiac Procedures) to SC/ ST/ BPL Card holders of Gujarat and unique Emergency Medical Cardiac Services Programme where patient is being treated without any deposit for the first 12 hours to cover up the “First Golden Hour” of Heart Attack.

	Emergency Medical Cardiac Services (EMCS) 24 x 7 with dedicated staff where for the first twelve (12) hours the treatment is given with out any deposit to cover the “First Golden Hour” to all the patients admitted under this scheme which includes thrombolization in Acute Myocardial Infraction, Angiography and Angioplasty with 50% deposit.
